Staining furniture is so simple and less cost so we can save money. The right furniture treatment will give a fresh new look also. But, remember that not all metal-steel can be stained. Only a few kind of old metal steel that need to stain for newest is not needed. That’s why most probably share about wood staining only.

Before starting, take time to fill any holes and defects in wood you have. Fix protruding nails and wait for a while after you stained the surface to filler in color matches. Don’t forget to take a look the paint. Is that water-based or oil based, which one is quickly to dry, which one more effective and intricate for detail, what are the ventilation condition, what a great color should we use, what kind of wood we have, and so on. After knowing all of these, then we can start staining by cleaning first.

It’s better for staining outdoor in bright weather, of course too keep inside clean. You can start to stir the stain, mix it well, and make a plan, from where you will start stain. Wipe off excess stain to give wood character. Try a pre stain conditioner, it will ensure your wood stains evenly till sanding. But, never stain after sanding. Keep it dry in a day, about 24hr. Then, rub your handover, apply the final finish, wipe of dust again carefully. Last, add wax, oil, or polyurethane for finishing according to the directions. Try it!
