Before starting to make the headboard, you need to prepare the material and equipment needed, such as plywood, glue, foam padding, fabrics, and stapple gun. Now, after all preparation is ready, it’s time to make the headboard. First step how to make a padded headboard is by spraying the plywood using spray adhesive. It is better to layer the plywood using newspapers under it to keep the floor clean and not sticky. The size of the plywood itself should be measured according to the width of your bed,but add some more inches wider than the bed’s.

After the glue is applied thoroughly on the plywood, place the foam carefully and make sure that the edges precisely hang over the edges of the plywood.
